Scientific Name: Lilium mackliniae

Description: The Shirui Lily, a rare bell-shaped flower with bluish-pink petals, can display seven different hues. Every year, the flower opens between May 15 and June 5. It has great ornamental value and is among the most exquisite lilies in the world. Only the highest slopes of the Shirui Hills, which are situated in the Shirui village in the Ukhrul district of Manipur, are home to this lovely flower. The Shirui Lily plant grows to a height of one to three feet. This unique flower species is exclusive to Manipur. It grows between 1750 and 2550 meters above sea level in hilly regions.
