Description: The crimson Vanda is an epiphytic herb with striking crimson-flushed lateral sepals and yellow petals with red flowers. Found in hill tracts at elevations of 1000-1500 meters in the states of Assam, Manipur, Nagaland, and Mizoram, as well as in the nations of Myanmar, China, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia, this highly rare and endangered epiphytic orchid is native to Northeastern India.
Applications: This species serves as a progenitor for numerous hybrids and has significant utility in horticulture.
