Description and Distribution:The Indian Roller is a huge, broad-winged, bright blue bird with yellow-brown legs, rufous-brown breasts, and a strong bill. During flying, the wings’ light and dark blue sections flash as vivid bands. The environments of scrub forests and open grasslands are frequent locations for this bird. This bird is a resident and may be found in many parts of the Indian subcontinent as well as some West Asian nations.

Threats: The Indian Roller faces a number of dangers, including habitat destruction and trapping for the purpose of selling its plumes, even though its population is not drastically declining.
