Description and Distribution: The crimson-red Palash flowers are produced by a medium-sized Palash tree. The woodland appears to be on fire as a result of the many trees producing the blossoms together. The leaves have three leaflets and are pinnate. Typically, flowering occurs in the early summer or towards the end of winter. Fruits are produced in green, leaf-like pods following flowering. Furthermore, the trees totally change to red or green throughout the flowering and fruiting season when they lose all of their leaves. Native to Southeast Asia and the Indian Subcontinent, the Palash tree is found in tropical and subtropical regions.
Uses: The Palash flower’s blossoming marks the beginning of spring. Flowers are utilized to create hues for the Holi event. The Palash flowers are also considered a drug for treating many ailments like chronic fever, liver disorders, eye diseases, gout, etc.
